Our Team

Camille Olson

Owner

As the founder and owner of The Design House, I’m in the perfect place to fulfill my life’s goals — to create an environment where happy, well-cared for individuals can thrive and do their best work. My interior design team consists of self-driven, talented professionals who are ready to help our clients translate their visions into inspiring spaces.

My passion for design dates back to my days as an interior designer in the “hot” Las Vegas market in early 2000. As I traveled through different careers, I find myself in my third chapter of life — back to what I really love, interior design.

When it comes to my personal style, I realize I have always been into fashion. I look at the trends but always focus on the ones that have longevity — the ones that are not necessarily over the top expensive but are always in style. This love of fashion helps explain my passion for interior design and my clients will reap the benefits of spaces that are considered always in fashion.

Finally, I am a passionate, kind and loving person who is a solid business leader and a proud mother of two amazing children — both who inspire me each and every day. I pledge that myself and my team will help you through the many challenges and obstacles of creating the perfect living or working space.

Payton Gregus

Business Development Specialist

My name is Payton Gregus and I’m originally from Glendora, California. I’m currently studying Marketing at Boise State University, where I’ve been able to blend my love for media, design, and creativity with hands-on experience in the industry. As a Marketing and Business Development Specialist, I focus on digital content that highlights our firm's unique voice and the thoughtful design behind each of our projects. From social strategy and trend research to promoting our incredible vendor partnerships, I help ensure our brand stands out and connects with a wide audience.

I never really pictured myself in the world of Interior Design, but since stepping into this role, it’s become one of my favorite creative outlets. It’s pushed me to think differently, and I’ve grown so much being surrounded by a team of smart, supportive, and inspiring women. Outside of work and school, I love spending time with my big family and hanging out with my dog (and fish). I’m always looking for new ways to grow creatively and stay inspired.

Mandi Iverson

Resource Manager

Hi, I’m Mandi!
I was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho, and now live in the North End of Boise.
I love traveling, spending time with family, my dog and friends…not in that particular order, and 3D puzzles!

I got my start in design while working on several construction projects with my dad and fell in love with the organization, details, and design aspects of each venture. I also have my cosmetology license and enjoy being behind the chair and taking care of my clients.

As the Resource Manager for The Design House, I pride myself on organization and finding unique products and textiles for the companies’ designers. Not only is It exciting and rewarding but challenging and I am always learning something new.
I love all the designers I work with and I know you will as well!

Havilah Chetta

Junior Designer

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to interior design. I would rearrange and redecorate my room repeatedly, determined to experiment with every possible layout until I had exhausted them all. I was fascinated by new homes and environments, always paying attention to how spaces felt and functioned.

Traveling with my family on a renovated school bus and living in a 1906 Victorian home meant becoming comfortable with unconventional spaces early on. Those early experiences challenged me to think resourcefully and sparked my love for designing with intention, seeing limitations as opportunities for smart, beautiful solutions.

I began turning that passion into a profession during my senior year of high school, interning with an interior design and staging company. I later pursued formal training in residential interior design, earning my RIDQC certification through Boise State University, and continued developing my technical expertise by studying AutoCAD at the Virtual Design and Construction Institute.

Outside of work, you can find me running on the greenbelt with friends, snowboarding, rock climbing, or sipping on a latte at a coffee shop.

Emma Poe

Independent Contractor

A graduate of the University of Idaho – College of Art & Architecture with a bachelor’s in Interior Architecture & Design, and a minor in Architecture.

Interior Design has always been a passion of mine. Even when I was little I spent more time designing my doll’s houses than actually playing with them. When it was time to head off to college, I knew exactly my career path. After graduation, I moved back to my hometown and worked as an Interior Designer in the Sun Valley area. Now, in the Boise area, I love designing anything from custom to commercial – it’s all my jam. I’m a bit of a design software nerd and love creating renderings.

Outside of work, you could find me spending time outdoors, at the gym, or dining and spending time with my partner, friends, family, and little Dachshund, Dale.

Alison Newhouse

Independent Contractor

Hi, I'm Alison Newhouse- a California native now living in beautiful Idaho. My journey into interior design has been shaped by a deep love for aesthetics, storytelling, and creating spaces that feel both personal and elevated.

Before pursuing interior design, I spent over a decade in the fashion industry. I graduated from FIDM with a degree in visual communications, I opened and ran a women's clothing boutique in Oceanside, California. It was a space where I curated seasonal collections and creating environments that resonate emotionally- lessons I now bring into every design project.

Today, I blend my fashion-forward sensibility with a timeless approach to interiors. Whether I'm designing a cozy family home or a refined retreat, my goal is always the same; to create spaces that feel collected, balanced, and deeply connected to the people who live in them.

I'm so excited to be following this passion and bringing thoughtful, inspired design to clients across Idaho and beyond.
